Civil Engineer

Job Description:

Evan Builders seeks a talented and dedicated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ needs and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and supervise construction projects including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and water supply systems.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project timelines.
• Conduct soil testing and analyze the results to ensure the foundations are strong enough.
• Ensure project feasibility through risk analysis and environmental impact assessments.
• Use design software to plan and design transportation systems, hydraulic systems, and structures in line with industry and government standards.
• Oversee and mentor staff to ensure project success.
• Manage construction projects, ensuring they stay within budget and on schedule.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
• Proven experience in civil engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
